What is Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO)?

Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO) is a heavy petroleum product used as fuel in industrial boilers, furnaces, and large-scale power generation plants. It is a residual oil derived from crude refining, designed to remain fluid at lower temperatures compared to other heavy fuel oils. LPFO is valued for its high energy content and cost-effectiveness in powering energy-intensive industries.

Nuvetra Global Limited is a trusted supplier of Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO) for local and international markets. Our LPFO is sourced and refined to meet the needs of heavy industries, ensuring consistent quality, energy efficiency, and dependable supply for bulk consumers.

Why Nigerian Low Pour Fuel Oil?

Nigeria’s strong refining capacity and abundant crude oil reserves make it a dependable source of LPFO for industries across Africa and beyond. Nigerian LPFO is widely used in cement factories, textile mills, power plants, and other heavy manufacturing operations where large-scale thermal energy is required. With established supply networks and export infrastructure, Nigeria provides both affordability and reliability in LPFO supply.

Our Trade Process

Our trade operations are flexible and can be carried out under C&F or FOB terms, depending on the buyer’s preference.

  • 1. Cost and Freight (C&F): Under this arrangement, we handle the full process—covering loading, shipping, and delivery of the goods to the buyer’s specified port of destination.
  • 2. Free on Board (FOB): Here, we take responsibility for transporting the goods to the port of shipment and covering all loading expenses. The buyer, in turn, manages the costs of marine freight, insurance, unloading, and onward transportation from the port of origin to the final destination.
