What is Hardwood Charcoal?

Hardwood charcoal is a solid fuel made from the slow carbonization of dense hardwoods. Known for its long-lasting burn, high calorific value, and minimal smoke production, hardwood charcoal is widely used for cooking, heating, industrial processes, and as an export commodity for energy generation and metallurgy.

Supplying Premium Hardwood Charcoal

Nuvetra Global Limited exports high-quality Hardwood Charcoal sourced from trusted local producers in Nigeria. Our charcoal is produced under controlled conditions to ensure consistent carbon content, low moisture levels, and efficient burning. With its clean performance and durability, our hardwood charcoal is suitable for both domestic and industrial applications, as well as large-scale export.

Why Nigerian Hardwood Charcoal?

Nigeria is one of Africa’s leading producers of hardwood charcoal, benefiting from vast reserves of dense hardwood forests. Nigerian charcoal is prized for its high heat output, low ash residue, and long burn time, making it ideal for household cooking, barbecues, restaurants, steel processing, and other energy-intensive industries. Its strong export demand in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia underscores Nigeria’s role as a global supplier of premium charcoal.

Our Hardwood Charcoal Products

We supply hardwood charcoal in various forms to meet diverse buyer requirements:

  • Bulk Lump Charcoal – suitable for industrial and commercial use.
  • Bagged Charcoal – packaged for retail and household cooking.
  • Custom Packaging – available in different bag sizes or bulk supply according to client needs.

Our Trade Process

Our trade operations are flexible and can be carried out under C&F or FOB terms, depending on the buyer’s preference.

  • 1. Cost and Freight (C&F): Under this arrangement, we handle the full process—covering loading, shipping, and delivery of the goods to the buyer’s specified port of destination.
  • 2. Free on Board (FOB): Here, we take responsibility for transporting the goods to the port of shipment and covering all loading expenses. The buyer, in turn, manages the costs of marine freight, insurance, unloading, and onward transportation from the port of origin to the final destination.
